Muuto Showroom

Visitors first entered a calm, residential showroom on the third floor where warm materials, playful details and a floral installation showcased early previews of designs that will be available in September 2025—including the Pair Candleholder by Lars Tornøe, Rime Rail Lamp, Midst Table & Coffee Table in Grey Marble by TAF Studio and Tom Chung's Beam Wall Lamp.

Upstairs, the fourth floor expanded the story: earthy corners flowed into vibrant spaces, each area designed around modular product families like the Connect Modular Sofa, Linear System and Stacked Storage System to support both quiet focus and spontaneous conversation. The tactile design language invited touch and connection, creating spaces where people could feel at home.

Together, the floors told a simple story: thoughtful design and intentionally designed spaces can be both forward-looking and lasting, bold yet approachable, inviting visitors to slow down, connect and feel at ease.

  • Vases in varying colors, materials, and designs are arranged in an artistic composition, each adorned with decorative flowers to create a modern and visually engaging setup.
  • The Midst table in marble is placed in a white room with modern curtains. Soft green chairs surround the table, while a pendant lamp hangs above, adding a cozy touch to the space.
  • A brown Connect Sofa is positioned on a light blue rug, styled with a white sofa table that adds contrast and brightness to the space. A large green plant brings a fresh, natural element to the room, complemented by a wooden storage system that adds warmth and functionality.
  • The Strand Lamp sits elegantly on a wooden sideboard, accompanied by a blue candle holder and a white vase containing a green plant. The arrangement creates a simple yet stylish vignette with a natural touch.
  • A Midst Coffee Table is placed on a grey rug surrounded by brown leather sofas. A sculptural vase with green plants and flowers is placed on the table.

Muuto Courtyard

We transformed our hidden Copenhagen courtyard into a social hub—a place where conversations flourished around our outdoor collection. The Linear Steel Series anchored the space, while the Settle Outdoor Seating Series invited guests to linger and connect. Lise Vester's Dream View Bench, previewed exclusively ahead of its September 2025 launch, sat naturally in the setting, giving visitors an early taste of its sculptural calm.

The courtyard once again hosted our panel talks, where deeper conversations unfolded. “Next Chapters in Design”, moderated by journalist and editor Amy Frearson, brought together leading voices to explore the future of design—from material experimentation to long-view thinking—with Seetal Solanki, Francesc Gasch Garcia, Malene Hvidt, and Selma Lamai.

Meanwhile, “Tuning Into Nature”, moderated by Robyn Landau, Founder of Kinda Studios, examined how natural principles can transform our indoor and outdoor spaces, featuring Alexandros A. Lavdas, Danish designer Lise Vester, Christian Kamp Iversen, and Line Brockmann Juhl. Together, these pieces and discussions showed how thoughtful design feels perfectly at home under the open sky.

Rooftop exhibition “Grounded in Nature”

Muuto partnered with Kinda Studios to transform its rooftop and create "Grounded in Nature," an immersive landscape installation that invited visitors to step away from the city's rush and into nature's calmer rhythm. At its heart sat Lise Vester's Dream View Bench, whose gentle curves supported the body and drew the gaze skyward, inviting quiet moments of reflection.

Built on neuroaesthetics, the installation combined sound, scent, texture, and shifting visuals: Swell Studio created a meditative soundscape, while Studio Pneuma developed a subtle botanical fragrance. Together, these elements transformed the rooftop into a sensory retreat—an experience designed to be felt, not just observed. Learn more about the exhibition.

Muuto Design 001 Exhibition

For the inaugural Muuto Design Contest, we reviewed more than 1,300 entries planning to select first, second, and third place winners. Instead, the jury discovered three equally strong designs and awarded them all first place: Veil Room Divider by Nikola Gaytandjiev & Florian Neubacher, Omni Rug by Sia Hurtigkarl and Waves Vase by Francesc Gasch Studio.

Exclusively revealed during 3daysofdesign, the exhibition brought these unique pieces together alongside a selection of honorable mentions shown for the first time. The display celebrated them as a shared triumph, transforming a competition into a celebration of fresh ideas in contemporary design. Building on this success, we also launched the Muuto Design Contest 002 with submissions now open.
