Each plank is spaced deliberately, allowing the wood to expand and contract naturally with the seasons. The result is a surface that feels open and structured at once — with soft joins and subtle seams that create a calm rhythm across the tabletop and seat.
“With the Assemble Series, we wanted to reflect the connection between people and the pieces themselves,” say Anderssen & Voll. “The name speaks to the social aspect — gathering, sharing — but also to the construction, where each plank is shaped with care and assembled with intention.”
The design was shaped by this material approach from the beginning. “The seams are part of the design,” they explain. “They allow the wood to move naturally outdoors while creating a character that feels both grounded and generous in spirit.”
The bench and coffee tables feature sculpted surfaces, softened edges, and open spacing — making them easy to combine across a variety of outdoor settings. Whether used as a full dining setup or as individual pieces, Assemble offers everyday function through enduring material simplicity.
The series is crafted from high-quality, solid teak — a hardwood well-suited to outdoor use. As a natural material, teak displays variations in grain and tone that make each piece unique. Made using FSC™-certified (FSC-C028824) teak, the wood will develop a silver-grey patina when left untreated, or can be maintained with periodic oiling for a deeper, warmer tone.
Made to last for years to come, Assemble is designed to adapt with the elements. Over time, the wood may show signs of weathering — including light warping, minor cracks, or temporary discoloration from sunlight — all natural expressions of its material integrity.
Available in three table sizes and a matching bench, Assemble complements a wide range of outdoor environments — from private terraces to public courtyards. Its sculpted teak and relaxed proportions bring a quiet structure to everyday gatherings. A tailored outdoor cover is also available to set aside during the winter months and help extend its lifespan.
